Our mission

Our mission is to use veterinary science to improve the economic well-being and independence of women in the poorest villages of India.

Improving the health of the animals of impoverished women increases milk production which provides protein for their children, as well as financial security and independence for themselves. Improved village animal health also directly impacts human health by reducing the spread of zoonotic diseases (those which are spread from animals to humans).
